Objects of Expression
More than a frame, a sculptural object designed around the photograph.
Its architectural character comes from the dialogue between a precise geometric, rectangular form and the sphere that crowns it, holding the glass and photograph in place. Designed to be both functional and decorative, it brings structure and personality to the space while giving the image a distinctive setting.
Handcrafted in ceramic, each piece is formed using a mould to preserve its precise structure, then carefully finished by hand. This combination of precision and craftsmanship gives every frame its own subtle character, with slight variations that make each piece unique.
Designed to hold a 13 × 18 cm photograph in portrait orientation, Origin is fitted with high-quality anti-reflective, anti-UV glass. its special treatment minimises reflections and helps protect the photograph from UV exposure, allowing the image to remain clear and beautifully visible.
Origin is the first design I created when I began developing my brand. Its name reflects both the form that first inspired me (sphere) and the beginning of a creative journey that continues to shape my work.

The piece is a diptych: two halves that together complete one column. The base is cast in raw stoneware, its natural grey-beige tone left bare, grounding the piece in material honesty. Above it, a strong Mediterranean blue glaze rises toward the top, capped by a sphere and geometric detailing that echo the capital of an Ionic column, reinterpreted in a contemporary language.
Each half is cast in a mould to hold its architectural precision, then finished entirely by hand, a process that gives every piece its own small variations, so no two are ever quite alike.
Ionic Iconic can be placed as a complete diptych, the two halves standing together as one column, or each half can stand alone — a single form, quieter but still complete, suited to smaller spaces.
